Choose Christ Or Get 'The Other'

"I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive." John 5:43 Jesus was speaking here of the Antichrist who will come to world prominence during the last seven years of this age, before the second coming of Jesus Christ. There are volumes written about the Antichrist and the Scriptures speak of him throughout. He is called "the lawless one," "the son of perdition," "the prince that shall come," and there are many more descriptions of him throughout the Bible. So what's the story with this man? The last seven years of this age will be "Satan's hour." Satan brings a man to rise to power over all the earth. He comes in peaceably, and will enforce a global one-world government, seeming to solve all the world's problems. But... “Through his cunning he shall CAUSE DECEIT TO PROSPER under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of Princes; but he shall be broken without human means." Daniel 8:25 This man will be accompanied by the "False Prophet," a religious man whose efforts will bring the religions of the world together. He and the Antichrist will have the power to do signs and wonders, deceiving the people and bringing them into "the strong delusion." "The coming of The Lawless One is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all UNRIGHTEOUS DECEPTION among those who perish BECAUSE they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them STRONG DELUSION that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12 Jesus Christ came once before, and Israel did not receive him. The "other" ...they WILL receive, just as Jesus foretold. Israel will accept this man and think he is the Messiah because this Antichrist will allow them to rebuild their Temple. However, after 3-1/2 years he will enter the Temple and proclaim that HE is god! Many of the Jews will realize then that they've been duped, and they will flee to Jordan. Then the ensuing 3-1/2 years will bring about the most terrible destruction, the most terrible time that has ever been upon the earth, or that ever will be afterward. "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." Matthew 24:21 But in the end, Israel will be saved and will be brought to the shocking realization that Jesus Christ is the true Messiah - when he comes and shows them the holes in his hands (Zechariah 13:6). Although all the signs point to the imminence of this period of time, there is still time for you to avoid the Great Tribulation by the promise of God to keep the believers in Jesus Christ OUT of this time (Revelation 3:10). Believe me, you don't want to live during this last seven-year period. After the Rapture (the removal of believers from the earth) the world will be left without a single believer to hold back iniquity (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-7). But God has prepared 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will preach the Gospel, and many will be saved. However ...there will be a dire cost to their salvation. The Scriptures tell us that they will be beheaded for their faith and for their refusal to bow before the "Man of Sin" or to take his mark on their arm or forehead. Anyone receiving that mark forfeits all possibility of being saved (Revelation 14:9-11) and the reason is that the mark changes one's DNA, making him not redeemable. We can see the global "New World Order" taking shape right before our eyes, the preparation for the Antichrist to take over is more than obvious, and we can also see the religious figure who is working feverishly to unite the religions of the world under one global "ecumenical" religion. Soon these things will all come together as has been so long prophesied. Turn your life over to Jesus Christ now, before it's too late. He has promised an escape for those who have been born again (Luke 21:36). Surrender yourself and your life to him now and you will be spared the most horrendous time ever to fall upon the earth in all of human history. Those who belong to Jesus Christ will live in heaven with him as the wrath of almighty God is poured out upon the Christ-rejecting world. Don't delay, we do not know the day or hour this will begin, but the signs tell us it is almost upon us. MORE: The Rapture
